CAMPS AND EXCURSIONS

PRIMARY SCHOOL

During the year, students go on a variety of excursions and camps. All excursions take place during a single day and usually relate directly to the curriculum that is being taught or milestones within the year. Excursions may include visits to local museums and sites, sports carnivals and competitions, leadership training and fun days at the end of a term/year.

Throughout the academic year, our school offers an array of enriching experiences for students, designed to complement their learning journey. These excursions and camps are carefully tailored to enhance their educational and personal growth.

Exciting day excursions are a highlight. These outings are directly tied to student curriculum and milestones, providing hands-on learning experiences. Visits to local museums and historical sites spark their curiosity, whilst sporting carnivals and competitions instil a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship.

As our students progress, Year 3 marks the start of overnight camps. These immersive experiences evolve each year. From a Sports and Recreation camp for Years 3 to 5, to an optional Music Camp involving Years 4-6. For the adventurous, Year 6 brings exciting opportunities, such as the Northern Territory Trip and the memorable Canberra Camp.

Our excursions and camps add a delightful touch to their academic calendar.
